Bought some photographic history recently - a collection of vintage slides from the 80s. I don't have a projector, but if you shine a bright white light behind them and get your smartphone camera above, then you can get the image to look right by tweaking your camera settings (you have to switch it to 'pro mode'). Then, with a few steps of photo editing, they can look just as clear as a printed photograph. It's captivating seeing these; like a time machine showing a glimpse from the past. I love the retro fashion, advertising, graphics, and old cars.
